Registration Policies

1. Submit only one registration per form or online session.
2. Early bird rates in effect until June 25, 2016 (11:59 p.m EST).
3. If you have not registered by July 24, 2016, you will need to register when you arrive in Ottawa.
4. There will be NO refunds allowed.

  • WOMEN IN SCIENCE & ENGINEERING (WISE)

    Topics include but not limited to: Korean women’s contribution to the building of Korean-Canadian communities across Canada,  Advancement and promotion of women in sciences and technology, Role of women in science and engineering in the AKCSE

  • RESEARCH DAY PROGRAM (RDP)

    The 2nd RDP session is a full day program that will be held on Sunday, August 7 during the CKC 2016. The RDP will foster and support collaborative Canada-Korea research and development of the joint project.

  • Technology Entrepreneurship Competition (TEC)

    WHY TEC? Top prize to be awarded to one group, providing long- term mentorship, resources and opportunity to take an idea or early startup to its next stage.

  • R&D BRAINSTORMING SESSIONS (RDB)

    Bilateral R&D Collaboration Opportunity for Canadian and Korean Institutions • Provide CKC with the research areas requiring an international R&D collaboration • Dispatch affiliated researcher and subject support personnel

     

  • KEIT Global Planning Forum (KEITF)

    Korea Evaluation Institute of Industrial Technology (KEIT) is one of most active and dynamic innovation support organization in Korea, managing R&D programs to foster innovation. The forum is to promote the participation of Korean-Canadian scientists and engineers in planning of Korea national R&D projects for improving R&D productivity and Global Cooperation.

  • Korean Ontario Nurses’ Association (KONA)

    We have the consistent and reliable delivery of services, more respite services, such as adult day programs and more services for high-needs patients especially in the Korean community.

  • Korea Institute of Industrial Technology (KITECH)

    The KITECH session is planned to advance the manufacturing technologies in the areas of light metals, wellness products, and materials machining.

  • Korea Basic Science Institute (KBSI)

    KBSI has focused on international R&D platform for basic science and research. In this session, the mission of research platform in Korea and Canada will be introduced. Moreover, the development of new scientific instrument including tabletop TEM and non-refrigerant NMR will be represented.
